Frank Haith in talks with Tulsa...

Mizzou was probably telling him that he needed to interview. I have no idea how this guy keeps getting work.

Is he trying to get more money out of Mizzou?

More likely trying to extend his career. If you look at his record at Missouri he has been on a downward trend for 3 years and he missed the tournament this year. If he has another bad year and misses the tournament again next year he would likely be shown the door.

It kind of reminds me of what McDermott did when he left Iowa State for for Creighton and the Missouri Valley Conference.

I think at this point it would be in Haith's best interest to take the Tulsa job. He still had some support within the fan base but flirting with a mid-major job and then coming back probably won't go over well.

Haithe left Miami for Mizzou due to NCAA violations. He is likely leaving Mizzou ahead of NCAA violations. You just don't get 5* players to transfer to Mizzou without working on the shady side of the sport.

My guess is that after kicking Zach Price off the team for assaulting Earnest Ross, Price went to the NCAA with something damaging to Haithe and the program.

Radio is saying that Mizzou may have helped set this up. Doubtful, but most Mizzou fans see this as a good thing.
