The last time we watched Vols/Tide play together was at Neyland in 1982.

My best friend’s daughter is spending the night with us because she is going to the game tomorrow as a birthday present for her boyfriend. They are both big Vol fans. What’s great about that is they live in Marietta GA and her dad played for Auburn. Teach the next generation when young and they won’t depart from the right way when older.

In an RV headed to Kentucky for the weekend on a family vacation. I'll be watching the game at the hotel while the rest of my family is at the Creation Museum (they're Bama fans). I'm glad they won't be there.

The Missus and I are both feeling under the weather - some kind of sinus crud going around here in South part of Indiana - so we are taking it easy tonight and skipping our local VFW Fish Dinner and Karaoke night.

We did manage to get chili in the crockpot for tomorrow though. So depending on how I feel it'll be some nice cold ones with some hot chili as I take in the game or more Alka-Seltzer Cold tablets in Orange Juice (yep, two for one deal there to knock this thing out !!!).

GO VOLS...feeling really about our men and their chances tomorrow !!!

Little HS football tonight then grand babies arrive in the morning for an overnight. Last grass cut of the year, grilling and Vols on the 75.
On a side note, my Pops would have turned 96 tomorrow (he was an old **** when he had me) but left us 4 years ago. I say this because for many years (60’s-70’s) he drove from Franklin Co to Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville to work 5 days a week. I still remember those Mondays when he said “I can’t wait to get there to rub it in those tatter diggers face. Of coarse the other Mondays….
I’m sure he’s put in a good word for his birthday

Wife and I are going to the Keith Urban concert tonight @ Thompson-Boling then keeping busy tomorrow until 3:30pm. If I’m hoping I get to smoke a celebratory cigar tomorrow night with a heavy pour of bourbon.
