In Jort country until Sunday, optimistic that the Vols will handle business tomorrow. I think there’s a ton to play for: a better bowl, one last ride in Neyland for the seniors, pride.
After the crappy play by the Lady Vols and 2 near misses in Maui by the BasketVols, we need something positive.
On a side note: I have been down here for a week almost, and I have seen exactly one more Vol fan than I have Gator fans.

We are at an airBnB in Knoxville tonight. We met my wife's sister and her husband (drove in from West Virginia). We have our tickets for the game and are ready to watch a Vols beatdown of Vandy. We had chili tonight for dinner and are putting on stew in the crock pot for after the game tomorrow night.

Vols-45
Vandy - 10

GBO!

Watching college football on t.v. at home. Tomorrow son & his wife travel to Knoxville to see Vols slobber-knock those vandie commode-doors. I just don't go to games anymore, but me & my photo-attached legend will be there in spirit. GO BIG ORANGE.

Not a lot of Gator pride right now......bandwagon'ers have switched over to FSU for the year and the diehards are finding it harder to wear their gear in public. I still have a few friends who are trying to push the "Dooley/Butch" narrative of hope by stating "Just one more recruiting class / a little more depth / injury bug and the inevitable THERE'S ALWAYS NEXT YEAR!!!"........but most are super quiet or have jumped ship.

On a positive note, they don't even dog me as much as years past when they beat us because secretly they see the decline in them and the rise in us. So most are playing the neutral card.

Rented out a facility in beautiful East Tennessee for wife’s family TG celebration. Ate tons of Turkey and dressing, Ham, Mac and cheese and jalapeño corn and played a ton of corn hole. Will be in Neyland one last time this year. GBO

Yes, a win tomorrow, I mean a blow out, would definitely relieve some of the pain of recent Lady Vols and Manly Vols Basketball losses. Someone posted 10-2 next year....I just want to finish 9-4, big bowl win, hit the portal hard for OL and DL as well as secondary and other weak or depleted pieces before we start again in 2024. I am good with coaching except the play calling regressed and the secondary still can't turn their head to spot the ball or tackle in open field. Go Vols...flush the commode doors.

Yeah, nobody has said anything to me yet, but should they try, I’ve decided to ask them what bowl they’re going to 😎

Wish I was there I went to the Virginia game but unfortunately have missed getting up to Neyland for a game. Had tickets to the A&M game but something came up and had to sell them.

We're at my favorite campground. I'll be watching the game on the big screen here. Might even wander down the road to Company Distilling for a little pregame sip....
