Free throw disparity?

We as Vol fans, bring up free throw differences in most of the basketball games Especially when they lose. But something is very amiss when the free throw difference is so far apart. The Purdue/Northwestern game had 54 free throw attempts. Purdue -46/ Northwestern -8.

Yeah that's very sketchy.

That’s the free throw discrepancy Purdue had over Northwestern in their 105-96 OT win at home last night.

As Chris Collins said, his NW team had to play pretty much perfect (outside the fouls) to even being in the game with that imbalance of FTs. Just ridiculous.

There have been games where it probably benefited us from not having more.
