C’MON DOWN AND GET YOUR FREEDOM PHONE HERE! Honestly how does anyone take these people seriously? Cash grabs left and right. It also comes with free Chinese malware preloaded for your convenience! Just imagine laying on your my pillow at night scrolling your freedom phone. Ooops, sorry “Freedom Phone©“ And don’t forget to donate to Trump for his birthday month. Then donate for Melania’s birthday next month! If you don’t you’re a traitor!!!!

The 'Freedom Phone' that far-right leaders are hawking is a cheap Chinese Android—and a security nightmare

Literally all android devices along with IOS are a security nightmare. The only real alternative for privacy and they're not ready for a daily driver right now, is a linux phone.

I'd never heard of it before just now so I had to google it. The first website I came to had this as the first comment describing the founder of the Freedom Phone:

Popped collar. Neckbeard. Lack of tangible eyebrows. Bond villain glasses.

The Jayden Smith expression: ó_ò

I trust this guy about as far as I can throw him.

LOL

Nobody is discussing national secrets on a Freedom Phone. Let the CCP have at it and gather counter intelligence on them. Brilliant game of espionage.

MAGA-Branded 'Freedom Phone' Is a Black Box That Should Be Avoided at All Costs

Trump fans like Candace Owens and Jack Posobiec are hyping the $500 Freedom Phone, which appears to be a cheap Chinese handset with a big markup

'Freedom Phone' Meant For Trump Supporters Is Also Made By Chinese Vendor

And my favorite:

The "Freedom Phone" is an overpriced smartphone that doesn't free you from anything

"A hands-on video of the Freedom Phone from right-leaning personality Candace Owens reveals that the so-called “uncensorable app store” seems to be a rebadged Aurora Store. For the unaware, the Aurora Store is an open-source frontend for the Google Play Store, meaning all the apps from the “PatriApp Store” on the Freedom Phone are likely sourced from Google Play. If it is indeed just a rebranded Aurora Store, then Finman’s company has no control over its contents and can’t guarantee that it won’t be “censored.”...

Based on the information we’ve seen so far, the Freedom Phone raises too many red flags. It clearly doesn’t offer all the features that Finman claims it does. And the marketing around it only aims to capitalize on the notion that Big Tech is biased against right-wing people in the US, without offering any real solution. Irrespective of whether you believe that Big Tech has it out for you or not, the Freedom Phone is not worth buying. In essence, the phone is just a cheap Chinese phone with LineageOS and the Aurora store on top. For $499, it doesn’t offer enough value in terms of hardware and software. You’d be better off buying a much cheaper phone and flashing LineageOS with or without microG yourself, which will leave you with a decent phone and several hundreds of dollars to enjoy your freedom."

A fool and their money are soon parted.

Hey, I can trade in my iPhone 10 and only have to pay 18 easy installments of $89 a month. This sounds like a really good deal to me, I'm thinking about signing up.

Jimmies rustled over a flag. Lol.
There are plenty of people on VN who have gotten their jimmies rustled over how others treated the flag. If the American flag should be revered as symbolic of the sacrifices that have been made for our country, should it be used as an advertising tool or marketing gimmick?

There is a difference between burning and stomping on the flag and using it as a marketing tool. I have no issue with people using the American flag as a marketing tool. It’s smart.

A "Freedom phone" is the last thing you have to worry about that China is getting data or secrets from.

Sure its smart, because people buy it. But if it is such a sacred symbol of sacrifice that arouses such anger when people aren't reverential enough, should we be stamping it on cell phones for people to jam their back pocket or 4th of July napkins for people to wipe mustard and burger grease on?
