Freshman QBs - Which One?

You know I honestly thought before Dobbs and Ferguson were on campus, Dobbs would start. Now seeing and hearing what I have from camp, Riley seems to have a leg up on Dobbs. This kid is a proven winner. He was undefeated in HS as a starter. 3 straight state titles in North Carolina. I'm not saying he should start, just think he might be a little better than Dobbs at the moment. I know one of them is the future starter, and I'm sure they can both get the job done.

Never know how these guys are gonna do when it's gameday; we've only seen Worley in action.

I do agree though that Ferguson is showing out right now.

Fergs has been head and shoulders above Dobbs at this point. I've even heard some of the players believe he should be ahead of Worley/Peterman on the depth chart.

I don't agree in the last outing Dobbs showed to be the better all around QB. Riley is GOOD no doubt but it's easy to be clutch and have pocket presence when the QB isn't live. From what I seen Dobbs has the higher ceiling.

The thing is they made the QBs live in a drill and Fergie did the best and showed the most poise in the pocket.

A lot of people think the one thing that could keep Ferguson from playing this season is his weight he is awful skinny.

Not to mention his family has good UT ties. He loves UT. Does that mean he starts? No. I think Worley starts for us.

didnt seem to hurt Bray, our O-line should be able to keep him clean while he grows

Im all in on Ferg.......Y? Dont know, just comes across as a winner

They say he is even skinnier than Bray was by about 10 or 15 pounds.

Can't wait to see ferg get some experience and put some meat on his bones, then I think he will be a force to reckon with!

but is he as tall? Id say they are about the same when you compare freshman years. He is certainly skinny as hell, but I dont think they would hold him out if that was truly his only downside

Who is the aerospace engineering major? Cause whoever that is has the highest absolute ceiling.
