I don't know why there are Georgia Tech fans. It must be so frustrating to see them absolutely choke nearly every season in post season play.

Picking GaTech to lose at home this weekend was not really going out on a limb.

Arkansas and Georgia losing is not acceptable. Creighton and Charlotte are simply not that good.

Oklahoma losing do Dallas Baptist is not a huge surprise. DP is building a very good perennial program.

UCLA losing with their stud pitcher is embarrassing. Where was offense.

Fullerton battled way to hard with a mediocre Illinois team.

I wonder how many of the #1 or #2 teems in the regions sat their #1 guys in hopes of using them against a better team today.

If you recall, in 2001 Tennessee hosted bu Wake Forest was the #1 seed. they got cute and saved their #1 guy and lost to Tennessee Tech the first game. They never really recovered and had to beat Tennessee twice on last day. They only beat Vols once and Tennessee went to Supers and College World Series. Tennessee was not the #1 seed because Rod pitched scrubs in SEC tournament and went 0-2. We knew we were hosting but NCAA made us #2 seed. Rules changed the next season.

With Georgia and Arkansas playing better today in their elimination games. It would mean all 7 teams will make it through to 3rd day. Arkansas still leads only 2-0 in 5th though.

I've just never understood that logic. Every team left has at least one kid who can shut you down. You better pitch accordingly.

Well with CSF losing tonight, their backs are against the wall. I don't know whether to root for them or not.
