Wow! Bobby Wahl is my new hero. 8 IP, 2 H, 6K. 90-94 touched 95, great 80-83 slider. Sounds like he had quite the night.

Is this early christmas.

Vols come back from 6-0, score 4 runs in 8th to beat the Crimson Tide for their largest comeback for this season to win 10-8.

Gators shutout by the Rebels. 3-0.
The Gamecocks remind Vandy of who they are 8-3.

The Wildcats, and UG Bulldogs is postponed, and will be played tommorow.

A titanic 8th inning for the Gators scoring six runs. The Gators winning 8-3 in the Bottom of the top of the 9th vs the Rebels.

Sunday Games

The UG Dawgs had a 1-0 lead in the Bottom of the first but it was futile with the UK Wildcats scoring 4 in the 2nd, 2 in the 4th and 5th, and 1 in the 7th. When the Dawgs finally did score a 2nd run they were already down by 8.
UK WIldcats ead 9-2 with the bases loaded in the Top of the 9th with one out.

It's a nailbiter with the Rebels, and Gators tied at 6-6 in the bottom of the 8th. A game 3 for the series.
Another nailbiter for the series in Nashville with Vandy and the Gamecocks tied at 4-4 in the top of the 9th. Five errors for the Gamecocks, and 2 errors for Vandy.

After 7 innings the Hogs and LSU Tigers are tied 2-2.

The Auburn Tigers beat the MS Dawgs 8-2.

Seems like the UG Dawgs should drop out of the top 25 after that kind of disastor in their own backyard.

Fantastic the Vols sweep the Tide, and the Gators lose a series on a throwing error, and the UG Dawgs are hugely embarassed.

It's going to Extra Innings with the Gamecocks and Vandy tied at 4.

Corbin decides to pitch to Christian Walker, he hits a two run homer...SC leads Vandy top of 13th...6-4

That's the way it ends...Vandy is 3-6 in the SEC

What was the exact situation in which Corbin decided to pitch to walker?

Pfeifer on the hill. 2 outs runner on first. Their normal cleanup (next hitter) Celek already out of the game. Vandy's pitching coach came out to talk to Pfeifer before Walker came up. I'm sure the idea was to pitch around him. Pfeifer left a 1-0 FB over the inside part of the plate and Walker hit a rope that just barely cleared the green monster in left.

Walker was walked intentionally twice before in the game. He's really the only scary bat in that lineup.

Thanks for the answer 51. I know he is a good hitter and the next guy had been replaced but it would have been very unconventional to walk the winning run into scoring position. I can't fault Corbin for that decision.
