It is raining pretty hard, as it has been all morning. It sounds pretty doubtful we get this 3rd game in. Just thought I would give you guys a heads up.

It's now 7-3 in the top of the 8th. It's losses like this that just really, really discourage me. Here we had our best chance to go on the road, and get a win in the SEC, and now that looks unlikely, because our next road series is at Carolina. I know we have a young team with some injuries, a new coach, and no bullpen, but I still hate suffering losses to pitiful teams such as Miss. State, and East Tennessee, of all people, in our own stadium! I will always support them, no matter what, but sometimes it does get depressing. Oh well, all part of being a fan, I suppose. We just need to refocus, and get ready for W. Carolina on Tuesday, and Vandy next weekend, and no matter what happens...

We are a 6 or (7 seed at worst) after todays game with 3 SEC series left. I don't see, considering the minuses you mentined with this team, how you are depressed.

I guess it's just the bad losses we've had. Heck, all teams have them, and I agree with the youth we have we have done pretty well, but sometimes these bad losses can be kinda depressing, but I really like Coach Raleigh, and I think he is going to do a really good job for us, but I would really like us to at least get a series on the road before season's end. There, Better?

Going into today the East was so close. 1 win separates the 2-6 teams. If we were in the West we would be tied for the lead right now. Parity
