Interesting how there's an article about the decommitting of Booth right next to the bigger, main article of Malone committing. :)

I do wish the best for Booth, though. Unless another SEC school picks him up, then gtfo. :)

4 losing seasons in a row and the program still sells. That says a lot about the perception of UT. Even today kids know this is an elite destination for football

That, and an engaging HC that the kids can relate to is a formula for success. Great news, GBO!

As I've stated before, apparently the stars are aligned for us this year. We have 2 players rated 5 stars that live in the same county and attend schools that are only 5.5 miles apart, and now they are going to be VFLs. Things seem to be looking up.

What a coincidence, right? I basically said in another thread that we're just now stumbling onto the Golden Age of in-state Tennessee HS recruiting. Phil never had it this good. As the midstate area continues to grow in population, the HS talent levels are going to start to explode. We're already seeing the first of it now. Tennessee has never had access to the same kind of rich, in-state talent pool that Georgia, Florida, Carolina, Alabama, and LSU have. Combined with a downswing in the fortunes of Florida and Georgia, we may have finally found the edge needed to boost us back into the upper tier of the SEC once again.

I can't wait to read the headlines...

This definitely. I've been a fan of high school football for awhile and keep up with many schools. Tn has always been considered bad for high school ball compared to a lot of other states. I'm seeing it happen. Our high school ball is getting a lot more legit.
