And without Shaw for 75% of the game, too.

If Shaw played all of that game, Mizzou would have lost by 2 TDs.

Let's not forget Mike Davis' 2 costly fumbles. W/ Shaw and nix the TO's 'SCjr wins comfortably. W/o Shaw and nix the TO's SC'jr still wins.
It was misfortune that kept them in the gm.

I hope we lay wood to those Missouri boys.

It's not a bias when the facts support a particular viewpoint. That's called reporting. :hi:

Into the landfill!

Your idea of "reporting" and mine are two totally different things apparently. But anyways lets just agree that we want to see the Vols whip Mizzou's ass.

Why is anybody upset with this article? I have full believe in Butch & Co. but this team this year hasn't even been descent on the road. The best this team played this year on the road was at UF and we all know how well that went. Quit getting mad about articles that hit the nail on the head. GBO!

FWIW, Both FOX and MSNBC are biased and more importantly all cable news is sensationalist. They're all more concerned with entertaining their viewers than informing them.

Liberals watch MSNBC, conservatives watch FOX, and moderates watch CNN. Nobody learns anything but as long as we fight, they make money so why build bridges?

Love My VOLS, but the only way Tenn beats Mizzou is that the O-Line has to be dominant......but to me, they get off the ball way toooo slow and they are not physical enough in the run game.............they just don't drive players backwards or in the ground......but I can tell you that Dylan Wiseman does exactly just that...........just look at when he plays in the games..........he plays WELL past the whistle....which is NASTY !! He makes you wanna QUIT !!

Personally, I'm thrilled at this kind of press. It works to our advantage, One of the reasons that USC lost (and UGA might as well have) is that both teams overlooked us. While I don't think their coaching staffs did, I DO think their players did and we exploited it. Mizzou isn't as good as the UGA team we played not the USC team we beat. I hope Mizzou players buy into the meme that "UT sucks" completely. It will make winning easier.

Mizzou has been impressive at certain positions but so have we. The difference is our years spent in the wilderness coupled with our brutal schedule make us look far worse than we are to those who haven't really followed our team.

Hope Butch posts it in the locker room to piss players off and get them focused to rip some heads off (intelligently, without personal fouls mind you).

Oh man! Where did you dig this up from?? As a doctor, this is hilarious! Sort of. Umm, and way too eerily similar to too many Pharm and non-FDA approved smorgasbord of drug and remedy adverts today.

I also thought it was awesome but that other guy didn't seem to like that it wasn't really pertinent to the discussion at hand.

It really makes me sick how our schedule is being used against us.

If we traded Oregon for Tulane and Bama for Miss St, we're 6-2 and the national media is raving about how great of a job CBJ is doing. But instead, we played the two teams that are head and shoulders above everyone else, and that makes us suck.

Strong candidate for post of the year
