FSU leads the nation with 11 draft picks. Looks like they are an elite power again after some down years.
This is bad news for everyone in the SEC.

They had the most draft picks and still didn't beat a somewhat weak Florida team. The SEC is fine.

Thats why there in the ACC instead of the big boys the SEC, they had there chance to come and turned it down sorta dont blame them, must be nice to play duke in stead of LSU.

You realize they're in the ACC, not sure why its bad for the SEC. If anything its good for the SEC to play highly ranked teams who beat up on their conference mates to achieve the ranking. Id much rather play FSU this year than Oregon.

Actually, a strong FSU should act as a bit of a recuiting counterweight to Florida. In that talent-rich state, Florida will never have difficulty signing strong classes. I would venture to guess that they land a disproportionate share of the instate wealth in years that Florida State is clearly down.

Agreed. Miami needs to step up as well.

Florida State has always produced talent, and they were good last year. They'll be good this year as well... but not realistic national championship contender good.

Probably won't win the ACC either.

Too many coaching and personnel changes. I think they finish no better than 3rd in the ACC.

So, becasue FSU just lost 11 kids to the NFL draft, it's bad news for a conference FSU doesn't play in. Got it.

UF manhandled FSU in Tallahassee, and those 11 kids who just got drafted were on the field.

Tennessee has been plain mediocre/bad the past decade. Underachieving with ridiculous talent in a horrible conference? No.

up until about 3 years ago every year since 01 Tennessee has been "perennial underachiever that'll always recruit well"

The SEC East had more draft picks than any other conference had total. I think the SEC will be ok.
