Ah well, Traditions and standards are on the wane. Let Him be Himself, that's the least of my worries about this society.....
Reminds me of the story a friend told me. He was a county mayor and could perform wedding ceremonies. He showed up at a house for a wedding where the groom and all his buddies were well into a keg. The bride, due at any moment, had to convince her betrothed to put his shirt on for the ceremony.

And they lived happily ever after........Hatfields?

Pane, purposely spelled, is on the outside looking in. This is in regards to anything in life. Fulky, on the other hand, he is on the inside. Great future ahead in life and in basketball. Congrats, sir! Good luck to you and your lady.
Do you mean “Pane” or “Pain”?

Great Vol---congrats on his nuptials---but athletic shoes on your wedding day? No, not even for a former hooper.
First, why does this bother you. If he and his wife are fine with it who cares. Second, this could be after the wedding. Almost every wedding I have been to in the last five years the bride, groom and all the bridesmaids/groomsmen change in to comfy shoes after the ceremony so they can dance and have a good time.

Likely changed into comfy/dancing shoes post ceremony and had photos done before the reception. Typical method now

I’m of the same mind, if it doesn’t bother the bride, it doesn’t bother me.. who knew turbovol was such a traditionalist lmao

Went to a young person's wedding recently, and the groom and groomsmen all wore athletic shoes, as did their peers in the crowd who were wearing 3-piece suits.

Asked around and discovered it is "the style" these days.

Given the cost of athletic shoes today... yeah, they be dressed up!
