Full Attention Time For Basketball

Other than football signing day, basketball is going to have my full attention now. What are the chances that our basketball team makes me feel better after our heartbreaking football season? :cray: lol

Basketball is going to be a roller coaster ride. The SEC is awful so we will win our share of West division games (should win them all) But we will say 5-1 for a hiccup. As for the east we should sweep S. Carolina and I think we split with the rest so 6-4. For a SEC win total of 11-5 not counting SEC tournament which should get us a top 3 seed which top 2 get a bye but either way our first game will be against a of a SEC west so 1-1 in tourney for overall of 12-6. Add that to the current total of 9-3 and College of Charleston, Memphis and Uconn that i feel we will win 1 out of 3. So that puts our tournament resume at 22-10 Overall 12-6 In conference play including SEC tourney. That's where it gets dicey to make it in the dance. I would prepare for the NIT.

That is a pretty good guess, based on how we are playing right now. I do think that this is going to get better. I am glad that all of this is happening now rather than later in the SEC or NCAA tourny. If we are as good as I think we are and our coach is as good as I know he is, then we are going to get this thing rolling and turn out to finish as SEC champs. GO VOLS!!

I'd say 20 wins is a good number for this team maybe under.

**side note - when we beat Memphis a couple of years back when they were 1 and us 2 our record was a solid (25-2), we lost in the s.16 but that was a good team with really good players all around

We pretty much drew the worst possible matchup for us in UL, too.

Honestly my friend.... I could care less about basketball at this point. I hope they can pull it together but I'm focused on next football season
