Full Court Press has released their "Fresh 50" for 2014. I know the Lady Vols have interest in several on the list, including five of the top six. I believe there has also been some interest in Jaime Nared #15, Zaire Oneal #29 and Victoria Vivians #11.

I really don't see Holly and her staff taking any more than 3-4 out of this class. Does anyone know if there is any interest in Alexa Middleton out of Murfreesboro? And, if so, is it mutual?

I'm not sure what to make of Holly and her two "ace" recruiters she hired, they got Russell, but whiffed on Kaela Davis and Harper. If they can get two of the top 10 then that would be a great class.

I think with Kaela it all came down to her mother wanting her to be the ONLY star recruit from Kaela's class on the team. When MR committed, that killed UT's shot at landing Kaela! Her mother was quoted as saying that "Kaela is better off being the big fish in a small pond; not a small fish in a large pond." I honestly don't think Kendra allowed Kaela to have much of a decision on her commitment, and that's the sad part of it! As far as 2014, didn't Briana Turner already trim her list to 5 and UT was left off?? I know full court still has UT on her list, but that doesn't mean much!

You are correct that Turner has trimmed her list. The five are Baylor, UConn, Duke, Notre Dame and Stanford. When I said Tennessee had interest in five of the top six I wasn't necessarily saying the interest was mutual. I think there is some degree of interest from Jordin Canada and also Kelsey Mitchell. Aja Wilson would be a great get, but pulling her out of Dawn Staley's back yard might be rather difficult. I believe there may be some mutual interest between Jatari White and Tennessee as well.

A class of Canada or Mitchell, Wilson and White would probably be the number 1 class for the year. Hard to see three of those four coming to Tennessee, though.

We just need a couple of top ten players every year. We got Russell and Tucker both top ten in the upcoming class. Hopefully we can get White. We were recruiting Canada really hard also and Alexa Middleton. The missing piece right now is a big center. Russell coming in we'll be able to put a 1, 3, 4, 5, and 8 one the floor at anytime next season.

I'd be shocked if she goes anywhere except UConn we can only hope.

Here is the Hoopgurlz ratings. I think were in Middleton, Canada, or White. I think those three would be a great class considering we have Graves for two more years when they arrive and Russell for three.
