I agree with the leaner, quicker offensive line. However, I am concerned that we have 2 of the top 3 players being walkons at an important position like center. Sometime you are able to cover up limitations at center with experienced guards but we do not necessarily have that luxury. I hope these youngsters make plays and hold their own but no matter how you slice the current situation at center, it is a concern for me and I think the coaching staff as well. Sometimes players slip through the cracks, grow after high school or turn down offers from other schools for a chance to play where they want. Your concern for a solid center is valid, because it is the most important position on OL. However, I would point out that UT's centers have traditionally done well, even in their first year in the position.
