Since some of these threads get hard to follow, I'll put this up here. If it shows up right, Fulmer's win% against top 10 since '98 about .300. He is below .500 against ranked teams in general. If you throw in the multiple losses against unranked teams, it just gets worse.
Now, before any of you think I'm solely doing this to bash, let me point something out. Fulmer is responsible for getting us to the point of worrying about this. My point is that with teams of near or equal talent, the coaching aspect gets highlighted a little more; and this is where the records very clearly indicate a weakness of our program.
Also, I noticed some very interesting Bowden stats looking at the FSU website, such as:
At FSU only...
.797 win% since 1976
14 straight seasons in top 4
18-8-1 bowl record
11 ACC titles in first 13 seasons
