Devonte Hollaman

good looking prospect with a head on his shoulders.

"I want to go somewhere with good academics," Holloman said. "I want to making in computer engineering. And they have to have a good coaching staff. I don't mind sitting and waiting a year to play but I want to be coached and I want to get better while I am there. Location is not a big factor, but I would like to stay close so my parents can see me play."

Seems like we will be up against UNC/NC St for the most part based on distance.

butch did not recruit in NC that great. He only got 2 of the top 10 and they were 8th and 9th respectively. In 2007 he only got 4 of the top 20 in north carolina. Whats to be scared of here?

Davis wanted Vereen and Johnson.

Charlotte hasn't traditionally been an automatic for UNC or NC State.

Leak(s)- UF, WFU, UT Massaquoi- UGA, Vereen- UT.

I think Spurrier picked up a couple of players from there last year. Clemson usually does well in that area.

My point is that Davis is better but he won't get them automatically unless they grew up strong Tarheel football fans. NC kids are used to growing up with their basketball loyalties going to UNC, NCSU, Duke, WFU... but their football loyalties going elsewhere.

Dwight Jones last year from NC...top player in the state I believe. And Marvin Austin from DC. He's a great recruiter.

he is a great recruiter but its not like he is owning the state of north carolina or anything. he actually came in third behind nc state and clemson this past season.

He doesn't own it...yet

I dont think he will. UNC is like Kentucky football. They will have there years where they surprise some but in the end its still Kentucky football. I still dont see UNC with a positive record and after 3 years recruits, at some point, will realize its still UNC football.
