Unless Fulmer pulls some surprises out of his hat...his NSD press conference will be pretty funny to watch. How can he sugarcoat this year's class? We missed on everybody! It should be a short conference that is for sure. Not much really to talk about as it stands.

Now I am not saying that at all.....We should actually sport a good team next year depending on QB play..but the 06' and soon to be 08' classes are weak and it will catch up with us soon enough.
Landing E. Davis, D. Thomas, A. McClain, & Ward will help with that though.

Phil does pretty well in Press Conferences compared to many I have seen. He will say something about how there were needs to be filled and basic needs were met, and he is excited to work like heck to get them ready to play... and Coach Clawson is rumored to have some magic dust to sprinkle around.

How many of those guys do you see us inking? If we can follow up next year with a top 10 to 15 class we will be ok. Every program will go through a stretch when needs and depth at positions in the class conflict. Not saying that is the only problem here, but just wait until some of these players at UGA, UF, AU want out in the next year or so. You will see some transfers.

I honestly don't see us getting any besides D. Thomas
Davis - Auburn
McClain - Clemson
Ward - UNC
Coples - UNC

Maybe with Coples and Davis wanting to play together....We can land both.

It's going to be a weird Wednesday that is for sure.

you can't honestly think deion walker is going to decommit from ND and swap to us considering he hasn't seen campus. maybe penn state. maybe

Don't be surprized if UT loses Thomas. His Momma really like Nutt on the inhome and she doesn't want her son to go too far away. If it is up to him, UT will probably get him but, what Momma wants........

"LSU just won the national championship, Georgia will be favored to win it all nextyear, Auburn had an undefeated season in 2004 and probably should have played for one, and Florida won it all last year. What do these teams all have in common? The last ten years they have all had top ten, and in some cases top five recruiting classes. Your mentioning of those four schools in particular proves the point better than anything anyone else could have said. You could make the same argument for Texas, USC, Ohio State and many many other schools."

VinA is just saying that because he heard a rumor that walker is considering decommitting from ND and looking at UT and PSU

VIA is one of the few people on here that I can take his word. No links required for me.

So I guess mentioning any recruits name causes people to freak out on here. Alright guys, watch out for Darrell Scott. He's a silent commit to us...just wait and see.

I think he'll sugarcoat it something like:

"I think we had a good 2007-08 class. I like the guys that are coming in, I think they're going to work hard and make some great contributions to this football team. This year we focused a lot on filling our needs, the team rankings may not show that, but we got what we wanted. I think the guys are excited to get in here and get out on the football field, we're going to work like heck this offseason and I think we'll be ready this Fall. It's an exciting time, bringing in a few new coaches, and I can't wait to get out there on the field and see what these guys can do."
