The effort was there.
These coaches gave it all they had.
We are just gonna try like heck to get better.
I can't wait for these recruits to get here so I can hug their necks.

the reason we had a sorry recruiting season was because of execution.

Im lovin the comments. lolololololol.. clap hands, grimmace,

we were a few phone calls away from a few five star recruits that if the ball bounced our way they would wear orange but we did not execute even though we gave it all we had we just did not get a break.

We are about to develop an offensive identity. (Feel free to place stress on whichever part of the word "offensive" you choose.)

I'll have to check back later and see what's up this afternoon. I am very interested in Fulmer's press conference. I have been hearing that Slade will retire after signing day so that could be part of it. I would not expect to hear any sort of appology about recruiting becasue that would be an insult to the guys who did sign. Probably some rah-rah, 50-50 on Slade's retirement, and 1 in 2 million that Fulmer resigns.

I think the "we'll have to look at the tape" post is a winner!

A close runner-up...it's RS's fault.

Personally, I'm hoping he'll announce Bruce Pearl will be hired somewhere on his Staff.

>>Maybe as first layer Coach after players come off the field. That way when Phil does that wimpy, lovingly, I don't know why I slap you on the butt thing, there may be good reason<<

I have been hearing the Slade rumors for a while now but I really don't think there is anything to that. Was it for health reasons that you are hearing?

Well, the perfect storm continued into the recruiting season, but fortunately the storm ends today and we will see what we have after the water receedes. I think we are in better shape than it looks. We have picked up some good players that will help us win some ball games. We have added to our coaching staff some quality personnel that should help us turn things around and get us back on track and playing at the level we are expected to play...All in all, I'm excited about the future of UT Football and can't wait to get to work with our team and all our new players and coaches. :clapping:
