I know anything can happen, but I think this man has really lost it!!!!! He says Chris Leak will contend for the heisman and Miss state will do better than Ole Miss and Alabama???? :dunno: :dunno: :dunno:

Normally I agree with Dodd, but this time he is a day late and a dollar short. He wants to bring up crap from a month ago? Come on. And why is an article dated August 7, just now on the website? Like I said, a day late, and a dollar short.

I find articles like this fuel for the soul...meaning we get our act together and win this year..will make that even more a relished moment...POETIC JUSTICE in the making...

As much as I hate to say it...(He did bring up a good point about 5-5 versus BCS though)

5-5 against BCS doesn't bother me as bad as our bowl performance :furious3:

I&#39;m pretty sure that 4 of the 5 BCS losses were in Bowl games (Nebraska, Kansas St., Maryland, Clemson) so the two records go hand in hand.

I watched an SEC preview on Fox Sports South (home of the georgia sheep). One of the guys said "I noticed you didn&#39;t mention Tennessee." The little goober that does the games for Jefferson Pilot just shook his head and said "With a freshman at QB, you can&#39;t win the division." I hate them, all of them.

Of course they want to get their digs in on Fulmer at the beginning. What they forget is that we are always a better team when everyone counts us out. It&#39;s like we need to be pissed off in order to do well. Keep it up boys.

I was at a birthday party for Dave Rowe&#39;s grand daughter saturday night. I asked him what he thought about the Vols this season. He said with the talent they have, they should be able to make a run at the SEC Championship. I then told him that I read on this forum about a comment from a JP announcer that had made the above quoted comment. Rowe said, he had not heard that. He said that Tennessee&#39;s talent guarantees them at least 8 wins every season. He said programs around the country should be envious to be at that level. This gives the Vols a shot at winning the championship every year. He said the quarterback position is critical, but if one of the quarterbacks develops, the Vols will be okay. :rocks:
