It's pretty hard to beat a 9 win team. And then too, you're going back through his loooooooong history of suckage to get to that.

I've always been amazed at how readily people accept his "genius" but I don't have a benchmark in my heads for how many 9 win teams you are supposed to beat. I just think his career was pretty shocking due to progressing in reverse, starting with NFL head coach.

I think Ole Miss is going to regret that albatross of a contract they gave him.

Rebels woulda been better off long term if that reporter had kept his yap shut and Auburn had taken him off their hands.

Isn't three years Lanes previous record for tenure at any HC job? Last year was his third season in Oxford and the team crapped the bed down the stretch-big time.

Well, I’ve found two….
Arkansas 2021 was a 9 win team
Oregon in 2011 was 12-2

He actually has 2 wins against P5 teams with 9 wins
