I thought they were gonna be a one hit wonder, but I think they've earned their own thread.

Carry On is better than their first two hits, which were way more "pop," IMO.

That's not to say I don't love singing Some Nights or We Are Young while out at the bar or a wedding :) They are fun to wail out in a drunken stupor.

Yep, I didn't think THAT much of them based off their singles, but gave the album a shot and it was a pleasant surprise. These guys aren't half bad.

I agree. I will be buying the album. I loved their singles, but they were just fun songs. I felt dirty listening to them :rolleyes:

There is some good music on the album, though.

I just did, it actually gets worse. It's water downed auto-tuned Queen with no bravado. It's music made for 14 year old girls.

Then again, you strike me as a hipster who would never admit to liking anything remotely popular.

Yep, you're totally right. Everyone who doesn't like an awful, not really famous band is a hipster.

I don't care if you or anybody else likes them, it's ok to like bad things, everybody does it. We have different opinions, that's ok too, it's nothing personal.

These guys are no different than a band like Panic at the Disco. I'm not saying they sound the same but they are a band that can only really exist right now and will eventually fade away. They will probably make a 3rd album that no one will care about and then break up after the record company dumps then because they aren't making any money.

We've all seen this happen a million times before.

Didn't mean to strike a nerve with the hipster comment. Nothing wrong with being a hipster. I am friends with lots of them.

I've loved their album since I first heard their radio hits. I looked it up on Spotify and it's been in my regular shower rotation. In fact, Carry On is playing right now on Pandora at work.

My wife really likes their music. I just cannot seem to enjoy it. I have tried several times with several different songs. I guess they are just not my thing.
