Funny Pics thread II

Jimmy Carter was President. Ronald Reagan was just a candidate. Big hair and big shoulder pads were a thing. Long lines at gas stations. Iranian students occupying the US Embassy, holding diplomatic personnel hostage… 1980 was quite a year.

The ham and onion were minced by hand, sautéed, then folded into the omelet… Mm mm, tasty!

Yes, I’ve visited New Orleans a few more times, since. The 1986 Sugar Bowl, a business convention (I met the Rutgers football team; they were in town to play Tulane), Carnival with an old friend from UT…

My friend (who had throat cancer and said screw it) got a couple of Kawasaki’s that were fast as lightning. He told me he was riding on the interstate that circles the city and some fool threw a rock off an overpass. He said if he wasn’t going 90 mph it would have hit him and killed him.

Remember what year? Early to mid 80's they were probably KZ 550, 750 or GPZ 750. I'd put mony on the KZ 550. Those were the 80's Ninjas. Screamers!
