Not a big fan of the expansion...but A&M sure is happy to join! Can't blame them.

Welcome to the land of sports success in America!

It's A&M's way of telling TU to **** *** and have a nice day.

WoodsmanVol...

Thank you for posting...that was rather creative and made me chuckle (the three men I admire least).

gvol...

I would say you are correct...Aggies are thrilled about the SEC. I know I am...getting to see the Lady Ags play in Thomson Boling is at the top of my wish list.

I have a feeling when A&M starts reeling off a few 4-8 and 5-7 seasons, it's not going to be so joyous in aggieland.

Not meant to be confrontational, but I believe A&M will hold their own in both Men and Women's Basketball, Ladies Softball, and Men's Baseball. Finally, we're the defending national champions in both men and women's track for the last three years.

I assume your statement refers to football. The way I see it, either A&M will be competitive in football or they won't. If they aren't, they'll fire Sherman and make the right hire (at least one can hope). Short term, A&M could fall flat on their face in football. However, no question they have the resources to compete with anyone in the SEC. The problem has been an Athletic Director that made stupid hires (remember Franchione?). Certainly, the book is still out on Sherman.

Exactly. And it is inevitable. Can't wait to watch it transpire next year.

No offense, but of course I meant football because it's the only sport that matters. A&M couldn't compete in Big 12 why will they compete in the SEC?
