I believe that we are going to start seeing some serious shifting of college powers, both in the SEC and in other conferences.

I really believe that Florida is about to have some down years. (keep in mind, down for them, is pretty good for us). They won't win another BCS title for a while. The reason I say this is because the other two major programs in the state of Florida are coming up. Miami and Florida State are on the rise. Theyve been recruiting well, and I feel like the coaches there are really going to bring the programs back to where they once were. I predict that Florida State and or Miami wins a NC in the next 10 years. But that hurts Florida's recruiting.

Bama is going to be Bama. Saban's name will not die, unless they get put on probation, they're going to continue to oversign and give out "medical scholarships" and have the players they want. They're going to continue to be a top player in the SEC.

Auburn is still on the up and up, but I feel like if they lose Malzahn (which they will soon, he will be offered HC jobs soon, maybe even after this season), that will dramatically hurt them. However, they're recruiting well, so who knows?

Kentucky is probably as far up as they're going to be, though I will say that Tee Martin has really helped their program out. But unless they find another Cobb (good luck with that), they're not going to have the success they've had.

Vandy...nuff said.

South Carolina has got a good back in Lattimore, but I don't see this success they're having now lasting past next year at the most.

Arkansas loses a lot with Mallett. Better enjoy this year.

Southern Cal is going to hurt bad (and rightfully so), the next few years. I hope this sends them into a spiral that it takes them decades to recover from.

LSU, it's just a matter of time before Miles' luck runs out. Sure they're undefeated, but i'm not sure it's because of Miles. They recruit well (using Saban's oversigning techniques), but I don't feel they're going to win a NC anytime soon.

My predictions for the next decade:

-Florida State and Miami rise to power again, each winning at least one NC.

- Tennessee will reach a BCS bowl, though maybe not the championship.

- Auburn and Alabama will be the teams to beat almost unanimously in the SEC.

- Tennessee will regain control of the East very soon, though it's always a battle with Florida.

-Boise State moves conferences and loses relevance.

- Lane Kiffin sucks.

Tell me your thoughts. Maybe I'm way off, but it's just what I think is going to happen in the next 10 years, if things head as they are.

Florida lost two games to undefeated Alabama and LSU, it isn't the end of the world. They had a similar season in 07 and came out with a NC in 08. They're the winningest program of the last two decades, they aren't suddenly going to disappear.

I haven't seen enough out of UT to proclaim they're going to regain control of the East.

Alabama will struggle here and there, but they'll be fine.

Auburn will have a good season here and there, they'll also have a few 3 and 4 loss seasons.

Arkansas and South Carolina best enjoy this seasons success. It wont happen often.

Much like Florida, Texas is struggling this season. They wont be down for long. I expect them to be back on top as soon as next season.

If USC keeps losing, they'll be down for a long time. Right now they're recruiting efforts are surviving off past successes, but I don't expect that to be the case if they continue losing. Kiffin aint Pete Carroll.

Miami and Florida State are always on the rise. Just ask em. Though I must admit, Florida State this year looks better than in years past. Best chance they've had in some time to beat Florida.

Boise State's going to keep on winning. Sooner or later they'll get their NC shot, perhaps even this season if the undefeated teams keep dropping games.

Oregon will become the new USC if Kiffin and company continue to lose and Kelly learns to attract elite talent.

Nebraska wont win for long. Neither will Michigan. In fact, it wont surprise me if Michigan State maintains their success and becomes a power in the Big X.

The Big XII will fade away after Texas and Oklahoma jump ship.
