Looks like a sweet game. And don't the Vols go to Berkley in 2007? Thought I heard that somewhere.

Yep. It's a home and home series. I don't think we've played Cal since the 80s.

Sweet, I may very well show up to Berkley for that one. I think it's all of a nine hour drive.

We haven't played since 1987.

Look again '08 has 11 games. '07 hasn't been completed yet. Also don't discount my note at the end.

Cal was 7-5 prior to this season. They have a history of playing sub-.500 football. They lost their big offensive guns. I fully expect Cal to return to the depths of the Pac-10 as soon as next year.

Those UCLA home and home openers back in the 80's to mid 90's used to be some great games. I beleive at UCLA was where Stewart and Manning first went on trial after Colquit went down on a career ending injury after finally getting his shot after Shuler. I think I was at the last Cal opener in K'ville when they were a blow off opener. Heck, I even saw Alcorn St. Some memorable games I did see in Neyland when I used to get tickets from vendors: Ole Miss, So. Carolina, Kentucky. Never could get my hands on the big games with GA, Bammer, Fla. they wouldn't cough those up.
