Then why has he not done anything to get them playing time and develop them? We have played several patsies this year and he had an opportunity to help these kids grow up.

The future is definitely bright. Jalen Hurd will be a beast at RB, something we having had since Jamal Lewis. Dobbs showed a lot of promise today against a great defense. The fact he didn't get rattled, ala Peterman, showed me a lot. I love having a mobile QB. Fits the system CBJ is trying to run.

Perhaps you missed the well-covered story that prior to today he wanted to get RF and JD another year of maturity and a redshirt. If you have a freshman QB who can be good for you, doesn't it make sense to preserve a year of eligibility for when you have better athletes to play with them?

When I see people compare fast/running QBs to Tee Martin, it makes me wonder if they actually watched him play.

He was a pocket passer who possessed decent speed and would use it when he had to, and only when he had to(which was usually near the goal line, had quite a few rushing TDs). He averaged all of 3 yards per carry over his career, never eclipsing 4 ypc in a season.

Uh we went after some big time QBs. Cornwell is one of the best of 2014 and if he would have committed to UT you can better believe Jones would have taken him. We just missed out on the big targets.
