Geez... 16 seems like a lot. What's the usual/normal/average amount for a year?

You mean we already have good players on the team and all is not lost :biggrin2:

That's a good list. Lets just hope that they're ready to play.

Yep, I missed that one. I need to double check my list.

Instead of worrying about Goggans remember we have Cottam and I think he was ranked almost as high as Goggan. The rest sounds promising too but give the NegaVols a few minutes and they'll remind us the sky is falling. :shades:

yeah so really we are going to be alright guys. Everyone is allowed one bad year. Its ok we just got to make sure that this year is really good for vols football, fans need to show up and act crazy, players need to play, and cutliffe needs to get the offense straightened out. I realistically dont see why we can't win the sec east next year...

Freak, thanks for the job you did today. You have been unbelievable. I appreciate it. How much did Adam Myers-White play last year?

I beleive that Swain can catch and I also believe that Briscoe will have a break out year especially if the coaches limit the rotation to 5 receivers at most.

dont forget lucas taylor. That kid can play. And Meacheam well..... Trooper Taylor we get his butt in line I garuntee it. Ainge just needs to throw good passes and I feel that we will be very good next year...

I agree. Swain can step up in a leadership role. Meachem just never got his swagger back after the ankle injury, but i look for him to step back up this spring.
Briscoes grab for SIX against Memphis really showed his hunger. He had two drops that stand out to me, one against LSU from EA that was high but catchable and the one for an INT against Ga. As a true fresh nothing more than a slip of focus in the pressure cooker that is SEC Football.

Swain, Meach,Smith, Briscoe, Taylor would be my first 5 with all only earning their keep. Slick Shelley didnt look like no joke in the spring so toss his hat into the mix. Rogers had a couple catches but im not sold on him.
The Vinson kid could be a player... He should atleast get time early with returns.

i have said it time and time again. incoming recruits usually do nothing for a few years anyway. lets focus on the guys who are here and who have been here.

great post Freak.

I verified my list with a contact over at the university and it was accurate except they did not include Bolden on the list I received. Not sure why he was on my list. He probably played too much. Does anyone know for sure?
