G1Parking Area

I apologize for putting this question on this forum but with the time sensitive issue I need some quick input.....

I have a chance to purchase a G-1 parking pass and love the proximity to Vol Village , etc. We are bringing three younger kids so that would be great....

My question is do this area allow us anywhere to tailgate?? We want to set up a tent, TV and grill.....

We park in G1 (donors) during regular season.. there is no room in this garage for tailgating as you described.. they are very strict on using spaces for donors .. people tailgate outside near G2 in grassy areas.. I wouldn't advise tailgating in G1..

1) How hard would it be for us to carry our items to the "grassy area"?

2) Any issues with a generator in this area?

3) how early do you think the grassy area fills up!

4) What do you feel is a fair price?!

We are always parked & on campus 6-8 hrs before kickoff.. people in G2 are setting up when we get there & I am not sure about a generator.. sorry.. and as far as the price, well we are donors and pay for our parking passes, it's a privilege.. whoever you are buying it from, sorry but I am not a liberty to talk about prices for parking passes.. I don't think I've seen the grassy area between G1 and G2 packed before to be honest.. have you parked in G1 before?

If you live close enough, I'd do a drive by G1 and look at the area I am speaking of... I've never seen anyone tailgate in G1, it's small.

I come to numerous games but this is the first time we have thought about investing in a parking pass.... I live in Kentucky so I can do a drive by.

I love the location but I want to assure we can set a tailgate area up.

You are more than welcome & really happy you are close enough to do a drive by.. like I said, G1 is small and we've never seen anyone tailgate... we've seen them take their things outside or around G2.. Geez a loo this is dam exciting!!!!!!!!!!!!!
