His goal going into his senior season is improving on his footwork. “You have to play mobile at quarterback, unless you’re the 6-foot-3, 6-foot-4 and 220 or 230-pound quarterback,” Conley said. “Not only does Christian have good mobility, but he’s willing to put in the work to get better.”

Charles is particularly interested in the offers from Army, Navy and Air Force. His interest in the military started at a young age from watching shows on the History Channel, one in particular called Deadliest Warrior. Even as a kid, he identified an interest in the tactical aspect that goes with military service. “There’s no higher honor than to be able to serve our country,” Charles said.

Received his 1st P5 offer (Washington State) earlier this week. Smallish guy with unimpressive passing numbers to date and apparently has seen minimal action on defense.

Could he be recruited as athlete? We need to start signing more 4 & 5 star players. Gap between top SEC teams & TN this year seems to be widening in recruiting. Know CJP has seen these kids in camp & knows what he thinks fit his schemes.

IIRC, Last VQ pod made it sound like this guy was close to commiting. Feels like an Alontae Taylor type recruit, but hard to tell from highlights if he has the same athleticism.

I'll be the first to admit I'm not a talent evaluator, but I get the feeling that if this kid is a take, coaches feel we're missing on someone bigger.

Yeah, AP basically said that Pruitt and Ansley really like the guy and that they definitely want him. He's a guy who might have blown up this spring and summer if spring ball and camps had not been cancelled. Sounds like the staff has gotten in on him early.

The best part of CJP finding these overlooked players in GA is the antagonism it creates for players against UGA.
