'19 GA ATH Owen Pappoe (Auburn signee)

I despise Chad Simmons' writing style.

You get the sense he has an erection every time he mentions Saban or the Tide.

Simmons was bad at Scout and has not gotten any better at Rivals. He also seems to like Georgia a great deal.

I know that you did not post it. I did read it. You still delight in reading bad news because it makes you look so much better than the rest of us sheep.

No I would love to get him. Saying he's a Vol lock based off twitter a year ago was idiotic.

I never did say he was, though, there were probably some on here who did. He was giving us a lot of love early on, but no way would I think anyone was a lock until much more evidence to support. it. The only lock we have right now is Cade Mays.

Owen Pappoe, one of the nation’s top prospects in the 2019 class, already has been to Tennessee a number of times and repeatedly has referred to the Vols as one of the teams he’s strongly considering. He might be visiting them again soon.

The four-star sophomore linebacker from Grayson High School in Loganville, Ga., told 247Sports’ Kipp Adams on VSporto’s SEC Recruiting Buzz podcast that he’s “trying to get down” to Tennessee on Friday, and he’s still holds the Vols and coach Butch Jones’ staff in high regard.

“They just know how to recruit, man,” said Pappoe, who’s ranked by 247Sports as the nation’s No. 2 overall prospect and No. 1 outside linebacker in the 2019 class. “I’ve got a good relationship with almost every coach on their staff. I’m actually trying to get down there Friday night and spent the night and watch them practice on Saturday. I just love it up there at Tennessee.”

“I think Butch has something planned,” Pappoe said. “There’s been a lot of hype around their name. People expected them to win the (SEC) East last year. They came up short, and I think that’s just building the fire in that program. I know they’re hungry to win championships, so I think they’re going to do something big this season, so we’re just going to see.”

With many of the nation’s top programs pursuing Pappoe, he said “a good bit” of the coaches recruiting him have impressed him, including Tennessee linebackers coach Tommy Thigpen.

“There's a good bit — Coach (Tosh) Lupoi from Alabama, Coach T-Will (Travis Williams) from Auburn, Thigpen from Tennessee, Coach (Kevin) Sherrer and Coach (Glenn) Schumann from Georgia, and Coach (Bill) Miller from Florida State, just to name a few.”

“Those three schools right there — Alabama, Georgia, Florida State,” he said. “They’ve been recruiting me the hardest — and Clemson.”

Said he will take OV's during his senior season, and he plans to be an EE; therefore, he plans to commit in December.

Ive see UT mentioned by many recruits as the school recruiting them hardest. Doesn't mean much. Recruit smarter, not harder.

Rusty Mansell just CBd him to FSU. Mansell is a huge UGA homer. Grayson really about to hire that Watson guy.

He's pimping out all the Grayson kids plus using the relationship he had with the Tru19 team (basically AAU football) to garner more offer$. Expect Sheffield to FSU too.

Watson now can't be hired as a coach but is setting up 'a players academy' along with another guy Murf Baldwin. So, if you want a kid, "donations" are accepted. So much going on with KW and MB, along with Grayson. GHSA looking into the program, I wouldn't be shocked if the NCAA did too.

I know handlers have always been around, but these two flaunt it and push it to new levels while laughing on their way to the bank. I'm actually shocked about how public they are with some of this stuff and confident no one can touch them. Honestly reminds me of a confident flaunting college team a couple years ago, Ole Miss.

Everyone repeat after me:

Grayson cheats
Grayson cheats
Grayson cheats
Grayson cheats

It's not a new development

At least IMG isn't taking money to send a kid to a certain school, at least they let the kid pick the school they want, not the highest bidder.

FSU might want to steer clear of that mess but they won't because they are just as bad as ole miss.
