'19 GA ATH Owen Pappoe (Auburn signee)

If this kid has a soft spot for Tennessee (as he once shown), I’d say Pruitt has ample time to get this kid enticed and on board.

"Pappoe has said that the Vols are his dream school"....
Im really hoping the kid feels the same way still.Ask me we just need to get him on campus and he will fall in love all over again!jmo yea Georgia and company gonna be hard to beat, but kid was All Vol at one point.

Isn't he training with one of the "he goes to the highest bidder" people

i think that is what Grantham, now at UF, runs too? maybe?

Ever hear how great a recruiter he is?

I don't know about the highest bidder thing, but him and all the Grayson kids are tied to one of these 7 on 7 coaches who is trying to get a support staff position at a college. 4 we're committed to FSU at one time andPappoe was leaning that way. But something happened and 3 have decommitted. I live in metro Atlanta and have never heard the UT is my dream school so that is news. Right now it's Georgia with a huge lead with Clemson trying to hang on and UT trying to get in. He isn't about helping rebuild a program, none of the Grayson kids are, most are transfers who want to win a championship.

To get him to UT we have to show we are ready to compete for the SEC before he signs, winning 6 won't get him here, Georgia wins again forget getting him.

You sure it was UT orange, Clemson thought they had him last spring? He isn't an out building anything, he wants to go somewhere that is winning, Clemson winning it last year put them on top, Georgia winning early got him interested, they beat Bama he may pull the trigger for them, he's there all the time. Need to watch Smith in the draft, basically the same player, first round he likely commits to Georgia, Sherrer wasn't his lead recruiter nor his position coach, so I can't see how he helps much here.

Great. Another rival fan posing as a Vol fan.

It absolutely was. Covered in power Ts as a matter of fact. Kid was a Tennessee fan before he blew up and butch Jones put his stink on us.

OP was all Vol up until last year. He was visiting Knoxville monthly but Kirby changed that and gradually pulled him away.

Kenyatta Watson was also considered a heavy Vol lean but that fell off around the same time OP started fading.

Caught up with...

Owen Pappoe, Kenyatta Watson and Kevin Harris off their visit to Tennessee this weekend. They all stayed the night and left this morning.

The consensus takeaway from their visit was very positive. They’d all been up here several times but talked about the new championship mentality in Knoxville.

Tennessee’s staff did a lot of film study and breakdowns with each prospect.

Pappoe plans to commit before senior season, with Clemson and UGA the main contenders, but Tennessee has at least given him something else to think about in the coming months. He’s said he’ll be back in town before he makes a decision, too.

Watson is very interested in Tennessee after decommitting from FSU but is in no rush.

Vols were never a real contender for Harris but have now officially entered his recruitment as a possibility following his visit.

Full stories to come later.

I was fortunate to watch some amazing talent this year...Walton, Mountain View, Mill Creek, Norcross, Colquitt,Marietta ,Mceachern and Grayson. By far Grayson was the most talented....ol and dline all big body guys, impressive team .

Pappoe: "I like the new staff. I already knew a majority of them from the previous schools they were at so I was comfortable from the start. My favorite part of the visit was watching film with coach Sherrer and I think coach Pruitt will have success with this program and help turn things around."
