“They’re going to go hard on recruiting this year because (Pruitt) came in late at the end of the 2018 cycle, so they’re attacking the 2019 class really hard. They said they are going to come at me hard."

The 4-star prospect has known Pruitt, Sherrer and Charles Kelly for years, and that familiarity and comfort in Knoxville is why Tennessee is suddenly under consideration again.

“Most of the coaches, I already had relationships with them at the schools they were at in the past. All of them really know each other well, so it’s pretty cool,” he said. “It helps them a lot.”

He' listed as the same weight as JJ Peterson is right now. JJ is listed at 206 on Rivals this guy at 210. Peterson apparently gained 30 lbs and a couple inches since that listing that was the same for a while. Now he's over 230. It is more likely a 16 year old will grow more than not. Very few kids stop at 16. And he's already 6 ft so adding a little weight is natural.

my main thing is height. 6'0" 240/250 looks a LOT different than 6'2.5" 240/250.

any of our LBs could put on a few more pounds and get up to the weight.

JJ was also taller on his visit than what he was listed at. Most guys aren't done growing at 16. If he is it would be somewhat surprising. But I don't think 6 ft is too short for this system either.

usually though if they aren't done growing at 16 they are actually growing.

I wasn't implying anything good, bad, or sideways with the comment. Other people have pointed out some backers that Bama played that were the same height thus answering my question.

I was mostly curious with how hard set this "profile" was that everyone was so happy that we were using instead of taking guys who didn't fit.

Two of the best 3-4 lbs of all time were under 6ft. Zack Thomas and London Fletcher
