'19 GA ATH Owen Pappoe (Auburn signee)

5-star target: MLB Owen Pappoe is already on campus with 4-star OT Wanya Morris and will stay tonight and spend tomorrow in town, too. Tennessee has some ground to make up here. Georgia, Auburn and Clemson have pulled ahead of the pack. Pappoe is set to make his college decision in the next few months.

Seems like Georgia has a legitomate chance of landing the top 3 players in the state. Talk abot locking down the state. Dang.

Don’t like it? Don’t read it. :wink2:

It’s hard to miss. The sheep starts quoting him like he’s the Holy Oracles...

I’ve only starting seeing him with the Gruden fiasco...but I have not seen him get anything right..but the sheep lick up the goo he spews

AV never once said Gruden was coming. That’s one of the laziest lies you bunch of miserables perpetually push.

I really wonder sometimes why some of you bother coming to an anonymous internet message board.

You know, the kind that are often fueled by rumor and speculation?

Maybe you’d like the Wall Street Journal online better.

I get why people are skeptical, but I don't understand trashing a guy that gives more than any of these losers ever will for the Vols. Money guys like Atlanta get told what they want to hear to keep the ATM open. I wish he was a little more skeptical of these moneygrubbers.

A lot of truth in this post plus most on this board who post about him don’t give anything to UT. Buying a hat and shirt doesn’t count.

Them saying we have a lot of ground to make up is usually code for "This ain't happenin"

Did the same about chryst. Signed like 6 recruits early period that were offered a week before ESP. signed 2 kids that hadn't even been on campus. I'll wait till they sign

WGAS.

A lot of four star Tennessee kids were at Arkansas last weekend.

Oddly, I didn't feel even remotely compelled to post at an Arkansas forum.

Looking at the top 20 in Tn, almost all of them attend a private school. How long has that been going on or is it something unusual for this year?

Private schools are allowed to offer scholarships. It's not many but they get a few of the best talents in the area because of it

Do the kids are parents feel they get better coaching or more exposure at the private schools? In Georgia it's the public schools doing the recruiting and some have even reached out of state to bring in a player for a position of need.

Metro Atlanta is the worst, a couple years ago one school had 6 kids transfer in who supposely all just happened to move into district for their sr season, all 6 signed P5 scholarships. Some good recruiters on the high school level in Georgia.

Mark Richt just hired Buford's former coach as Miami's new DL coach, I guess he wants to get a leg up recruiting there. Buford operates at a different level than other schools, they have a JV stadium that seats about 2k. But their players are very well coached, and their S&C program is so good their kids are maxed out by the time they leave HS and don't progress very much in college. They seldom live up to their rankings and end up being role players. Grayson just puts more talent on the field than most teams can deal with, a well coached team with some good players beats them, their kids tend to get better in college.
