Ever heard of DJ Williams? Was committed to app state last year. Ended up a battle between Alabama, auburn, and Georgia to get him. He’s been very good for AU this year. Trust the coaches. Not some fatso at 247 that isn’t watching full game tape

On what are you basing your elite evaluation? He has 0 stars on rivals, which means he hasn't even been evaluated by them. 247 has him as a 3-star, but again, limited evaluation. I they decide he s a 4 or 5 star, will he meet your elite level status?

I trust Ansley et al on Dbacks. I get your defensive posture. But i do think theres a correlation between star rankings and offers for skill guys in current class.

SE Missouri State doesnt exactly evoke a ton of excitement.

i get what y'all are saying. ive followed recruiting for a while. we have an opportunity to close a strong class; and take a big step next year.

ultimately my star based belly aching makes no difference, but, it is ... concerning inability of bit time recruiters to close with some of high value skill targets. (hyatt was a good get). bottom line i hope we can close come one or two big name skill guys on offense to close it out.

maybe they will find a JUCO.

I think next class is when we will start to see better results. We were meh last season and bad at the beginning of this season which killed momentum. Going to have to find some low key players and hope for a couple upsets down the stretch

So how many high schools are in the US? 36,000? How many football teams and players.. So you honestly think all the kids are evaluated? The majority don't camp. I bet there are hidden talent that gets lost that could crack the top 250.. I also believe there are many in small high school programs that aren't coached correctly and do not have the resources to get there name out there.. So I trust Pruitts system.. He has a model he looks for to fit his system. We all know where this originated.. One of the best NFL coaches this decade.. So yeah.. JMHO on all this..
