William Inge is expected to check in on multiple schools in the Atlanta area. He will make a stop at Buford High School, which is home to multiple top prospects, including Georgia linebacker commitment Jadon Perlotte. Inge has made sure to check on several linebackers committed elsewhere during his recent travels, and he continues to follow suit by doing his due diligence with Perlotte, who has remained open to taking visits to other schools despite his commitment to Georgia.

I'm glad we're still recruiting Perlotte. Like 1 out of the last 100 kids from Buford actually went to uga. He'll look good in orange.
Yeah, Buford kids generally don't end up at UGA even though they may commit there. I told my UGA friends down here Raiola probably wouldn't sign with them when he went to Buford. I was just going off the past, but I was right.

That was partly why everyone was so shocked that Bolden went there haha

Why do Buford kids rarely end up at UGA?

I'm not sure exactly. There are long standing rumors that go back to even the Richt years that Buford's coaching staff does not like UGA and steers kids away from there, but it's rare that a Buford kid goes to UGA or sticks with a commitment there. The highly recruited defensive back the other poster mentioned this last cycle, Bolden was a rare exception.

Georgia linebacker commit Jadon Perlotte doesn’t feel like he will end up in the Bulldogs class. It feels like they are going to go in another direction which means Tennessee could have a chance to steal him from a few other teams like Alabama with his visit coming up here in the next week or two. It certainly feels like Tennessee is trying to find their footing at linebacker, and so adding someone like him could be a real positive.

It'll take a minute for Perlotte to see the field here. He's gonna need some serious work in the weightroom. Be patient with him and he'll show out in a few years.
He’s the exact same height and weight Maggit was coming into his Sr year out of Palm Beach Dwyer.

He has a
- HS whole summer,
- a whole Sr season
- a winter S&C period before EE
- an Early enrollment college semester
- a college football S&C summer

Before his freshman season.

Physically he’ll be able to contribute but will his leaning curve be up to speed is the question.

Georgia's Jadon Perlotte will visit Rocky Top with his family this weekend, and it is clear the Vols are one of the contenders to flip him away from the Bulldogs. He told us earlier this week that Tennessee is recruiting him harder than any school, so this visit will be important for the Vols to gain momentum heading into the dead period, as he will look to make a final decision before August.

Hearing really positive buzz around Jadon Perlotte and his OV to Tennessee this weekend. He is a Georgia commit, but I would call Tennessee as the school trending right now based on feedback I have gotten from sources. I will have a national update from Perlotte at some point, but the buzz around UT is strong coming off this visit.
