'25 GA LB Jaedon Harmon (Tennessee commit)

I trust Heup to sign the RB he thinks will thrive in this offense. But I’m not giddy over a strategy of “Two, just in case”.

We play two (2) Safeties at a time. How many do we currently have that can apparently play? One?
Sometimes kids don’t develop like you expect them too, Huep and every other SEC school offered Baker in the 10th grade. He shared the backfield with Caleb Downs and it was understood why he wasn’t featured. Then last cycle the excuse were Raiola turned them into a pass happy team, again understandable. I’ll reserve judgement until midseason, but he didn’t get loose against Milton last week. Idk, we’ll see

We got three safeties in this class, one back. If our one back, who the previous RB coach offered, doesn’t run for 500 yards again this year do we sign him anyway because he’s all we got?
Have you seen any panic about this cycle from our new RB Coach?

Maybe they are taking our hot streak to the portal and have a guy or two staked out for next portal cycle. Might have a tough time after this season if Lewis and Bishop show well.

Out of every position on the team (outside of kickers and ST players) - the one I am least worried about finding guys to step in and play… is RB.

Just not a high-value position. It's not kicker or long-snapper, but it isn't OT, QB, or EDGE, either, which is where I'd assume the majority of our NIL funds are being spent. Hearing that Spyre was a factor here makes me assume we ponies up some level of financial commitment to Harmon, who himself is not even at the top of the rankings for LBs. Perhaps he's near the top for our staff, though.

Interesting...what other interests do they have a hand in? If you can share, of course. If not, I understand.
Those guys are able to act like an extension of the coaching staff in a lot of ways and build relationships/pitch the program and the opportunity for marketing+brand deals. They built a great relationship with Harmon and helped us claw our way back in. Inge and Heup closed it
