I haven’t given up on Smith contributing either. He’s just a RsFR this year. Our Linebacker depth next year will be insane. If we can keep Perry it will be pushing elite. I don't know how much gass or Harmon will play though. Perry, Carter, Telander, Spillman, and Burns would be my 5 that rotate next year.
r.callhan last weekHarmon racked up 19 tackles, including two tackles for loss, and rushed for 80 yards and a touchdown on five carries Friday night in Rome's season-opening 44-22 loss at Carrollton (Ga.) High School. The Wolves will play host to Toombs County High School of Lyons, Ga., on Friday night.
Burns needs to get healthy and practice before he’s penciled in anywhere. Our Linebacker depth next year will be insane. If we can keep Perry it will be pushing elite. No I think his last two ish weeks he was out there. I wouldn't imagine he would have played if he hadn't. There's also no telling how much he practiced since media get 15 minutes then leaves. That's why we didn't know Cam was ready to rock until 8 days before season. He did? Every practice report listed him as non-participating, “stretching on the side.”
And let's be honest... Vip trip to see one of the biggest games of the year? Ok. I'll play.We are wearing our big boy pants now. Would you rather Alabama not consider our recruits a big enough prize to continue to pursue them? We will get ours! We will lose some at times, like Utu, but we will get our share of flips too. It's finally a new ballgame for us.
Difference here is the kid was leaning our way before BJM left for Michigan. He’s from Georgia and not being asked to play a position he doesn’t want to play. Utu’s commit came out of left field and basically flipped because Oregon offered him a shot tackle. Everyone has to put their big boy pants on. When you get top guys, everyone is going to sweat it until the kid signs the dotted lineWe are wearing our big boy pants now. That gif was not meant to be viewed as a serious smash of the panic button. It was simply meant as a humorous reaction to something we universally believe would suck (potentially losing Harmon). Do I want Bama to want our recruits? Obviously. Am I excited when said recruit entertains the idea? Obviously not.We are wearing our big boy pants now. I didn't think you were freaking out. I wasn't bashing or calling you a negavol or anything nefarious. My post was simply saying that I think we are going to see this more often now. We should just be ready for it. We are recruiting in the big leagues (finally) and are legitimately taking recruits that are highly coveted by the big dogs. And I think we will win and keep our fair share. Let's go!!!!!That gif was not meant to be viewed as a serious smash of the panic button. Don’t look any deeper than that.
