Concur. That’s what it is. I think that’s why Fulmer has been doing these interviews saying he will be around 7 year or so. I think coaches are telling these recruits Fulmer is a quick stop gap and the likelihood Pruitt will their coach for 4 or 5 years is nil, based on recent history.

But we will see. A lot can happen between now and NSD.

There’s part of me that wonders if Tennessee needs to hit absolute rock bottom (40,000 in the stands) before we can come back. Our fans still think this thing can be turned around in a year if we just would commit to hiring the right guy. The evidence suggests pretty much no one reputable wants to work here, so whoever does we need to give space to. So we probably need to hit rock bottom to drive these fans away so someone can labor in obscurity for a while to build it back.

We were 0-8 in SEC play last season. How much more rock bottom do you think we need to be? At some point all of the excuses play out. We need to finish with a decent class this year imo.
