I agree. But this staff is loaded with elite recruiters with all kinds of ties to the south east. It’s baffling.

If we somehow miss out on Copeland, ITS, Walker, & lose Peterson, nobody could deny that it would be a huge failure.

JJ isn't going amywhere.

They are saying this to stir up clicks and drama for NSD.

JJ had been all vol since we hired Pruitt.

He even committed before taking a visit to UT.

Looked around and it seems even Bama fans suprised at this and don't see mods even mentioning him. Hopefully for clicks and suspense

Agreed...but where is any legitimate news stating these things.

I refuse to believe these guys are so bad at recruiting all of a sudden to miss and lose everyone.... makes you wonder if there are some games being setup. I mean these are elite recruiters. Only difference is missing the HC closer that is used to being in that seat

Losing out on all these guys won't mean they are bad at recruiting imo. Would just mean we got too aggressive with who we went all in on

Also I will add if JJ is gone we would see another offer go out like with Cedric Tillman the WR...tells me Young is gone and JJ is a Vol

I think the last sentence is exactly what’s happening. Remember NSD is one of the times of the year these sites make their money. They need suspense to do that, especially with the early signing period and so few elite prospects left to sign on Wednesday.

I’m not putting a ton of stock in it. I interviewed JJ getting quotes prior to his announcement about why he was choosing TN. Got Rush on the phone and Rush downplayed that JJ was doing anything and said that notion was premature even tho I had JJ already. Bama isn’t going to go away and I’m sure they have pushed but I’m just saying don’t go all in on this notion Vols are in trouble based off a Rush quote

This is the problem. Rush P. is a dick and is mad he didn't get a job on staff and is a Bammer who loves him Nick more than one of his own in Jeremy. I wish Pruitt would pop him in the mouth.

This sounds more like him wanting to create some drama for his announcement. He can still have his moment now and have suspense and UT and get a big splash from it that they beat Saban out for a recruit and on the same day flipped Walker from UA. Pruitt trying to get visibility for the program.
