'25 GA RB Justin Baker (Tennessee commit)

Baker enjoyed a new career rushing high last Friday with 127 yards on just 4 carries.

He started the season slowly with 77 yards on 22 carries in Buford's first two games, but over the last eight games he's run 45 times for 568 yards (12.6 ypc) and 7 TDs.

Buford continued their dominance with a 49-7 win over Mountain View Friday night...Buford retook the lead with a Justin Baker 60-yard run to take a 13-7 lead...Baker had his second touchdown of the day with three minutes to go in the first half on a 52-yard run...

Haven't found his complete stats from last night, but looks like it was probably a new career rushing high for Baker.

Baker has really turned it up as the season has worn on.

Close to 750 yards rushing now on the season with less that 90 carries and 5 TDs he’s a tank out there. Pretty decent stats considering 2 other RBs are getting the football and WR are getting Jett sweeps too.

Team is 9-1 and ranked Top 10 in America. They’ve only lost to Milton GA - 1st game of the season. Milton is ranked #2 in America and #1 in Georgia.

I have a feeling these two teams will meet again.

Last year had Buford beaten Grayson in the
“7A” playoffs they would played Milton in State Semi-Final.

Milton went on to beat Grayson then Walton for the State Championship
GA reorganized from 7 divisions to 6 this year. Previously Milton was a 6A size but opted to play up as a 7A. In the new setup this year with 6 divisions, Milton is 5A size and didn’t opt to play up as a 6A.
