Why on Earth would Bama schedule Ga Southern? There are probably 100 FCS teams that would come to Tuscaloosa and take a check in return for a beatdown. They picked the one that runs the Flexbone to perfection.

I just find it funny that the great Bama D has given up 21 to a FCS team.

Come to think of it, we play GA Southern next year don't we if it doesn't get kicked off the schedule.

I remember a game with LA-Monroe vs KY a few years ago...we were 42-7 favorites and won by 2 points (42-40). GAS looks pretty dangerous against Bama. Watch out!

These small teams are scrappy. Watch out for these guys :p

Georgia southern and Georgia St run different offenses, but they both do so to the point that they can be dangerous to anyone, even a superiorly talented bama team

The option run to effectiveness is ugly, and gritty, but if done right it works. Ask the Denver Broncos.
