2025 WR Thomas Blackshear has a top three of Tennessee, Georgia and FSU currently. He is in the process of setting up official visits, and Tennessee will get one in June. Georgia has fallen back some currently because of the change at receivers coach. He has hit it off well with Kelsey Pope and was really impressed with the way the Vols practiced today and how involved Pope was in each rep.

On the pod this morning AP said blackshear is a name that is moving up many recruiting sites and he would not be surprised if blackshear was in this class. It seems like Tennessee is in with a bunch of big wide receivers and their best option to get in the class is to get in the boat early

He is currently ranked 167th best player on on3

From Rivals:

It has long seemed like a two-horse race for the big and physical wideout, who had a great showing in Atlanta, but a third program is getting into the mix. Blackshear had a top three of Georgia, Tennessee and Florida State earlier this year but the only ACC program in the mix has since faded. Instead, another SEC East program has vaulted up his list in the Florida Gators.

Blackshear admits Georgia and Tennessee are the top two, but Florida's climb could become an interesting late wrinkle into a recruitment expected to end in late August or September. Official visits to the in-state Bulldogs and Volunteers have already been set.

Florida recruiting is cute. Napier will be fired mid-season.

Announcing May 12th. Per Callahan sounds like it would be UGA today but he's definitely a take for us and we will keep fighting...

This was just posted 3 hours ago on On3 so maybe he's holding off

There was a little chatter behind the scenes that Blackshear could be closing in on a decision, but that is not his plan as of now.
“I will take my official visits first,” Blackshear said. “I have an official visit to Georgia for June 21 and I plan to take one to Tennessee earlier than that in June. Then I will make my decision on where I feel most at home. Where I feel most comfortable is where I will go.”

Not too much of a miss. Guy is more an athlete than a wr. Quick, but not necesarily fast. Route running needs a lot of work. Won't hear about him til he transfers from uga in 2 years after only being on special teams.
