Well, bit the bullet in the preseason and decided I am going back and got tickets. Have only been down there once and it was the 2015 butch jones special. I swore I would never go back but screw it I am going back to get the win down there I should have experienced the last time.

From you guys that have been several times, are there any recommendations for Friday night or Saturday before the game? Where can I find some Vols and what are the best spots to tailgate, places to grab some beers and eat on Friday, etc? I'll be there with a group of four guys.

Eat steak at Embers. That's been the best part of my last couple of visits there.

Don't stay in Gainesville Friday night, get a place on the beach and drive in Saturday. Especially easy this year with it being a night game.

There was an email sent by the university a few weeks ago with details on official away game tailgates. I deleted it but I remember the one at Gainesville was at the UF student center.

I am flying into Orlando on Friday night, renting a car and driving in on Saturday. I broke down and bought me a good parking pass off stubhub so I will be there early most likely. Hopefully there are a ton of us there.

Marks Prime has some great steaks if you are looking for a nice dinner. The Bull and That 80's bar are cool hangouts. Closer to the stadium is The Social.
