Barnes said he was proud of Jordan.

“Everything he gets, he’s worked for it. He’s earned it, and I’m just so glad he’s with us.” Marvin West worked overtime to get this article out on his day off! Great read as usual...... Thank you Mr. West. westwords For this and everything UT VOLS.

I just can't say enough about how proud I am of Jordan Gainey. He seems to just keep improving in all aspects of his game.
He's D is sound, his shots are dropping, and I think I'm most impressed with how he is playing team ball.
It seemed like last year when he came off the bench he was itching to get a shot off/make a play. He's letting the game come to him a lot more, IMO.

I also appreciate how he has embraced coming off the bench.
I think he knows he's going to get his minutes, so he's more relaxed.

Tennessee fought through some "questionable" foul calls, one of the loudest home crowds ever, and possibly (hopefully) their worst shooting performance of the season; and still emerged victorious! What a confidence builder that has to be. How great to send that loud boisterous crowd home with some tears!

That was an absolute rock fight of a game and a really loud crowd. I was born just west of Champaign and been to many games there growing up with my dad and granddad. Illinois has long been a basketball school and they showed why. I'm glad UT got out of there with the W and what an ending! UT is close to having the best start in program history!
