Smith should have stayed here another year. He hurt himself by leaving as much as he hurt us. But that's just my opinion.

You're probably right, we're going to need all the help we can get next year. I don't think we lost any great players (except Allen), but we lost a ton of solid contributors.

I thought Gaither would surprise some people by going earlier then people thought. He played his whole career without any injuries. That carries a lot of weight in the NFL. For the same reason, K. Simon probably wont get drafted, even though he was a better linebacker.
