I think most Americans, including Republicans, are a variety of socialist. The trick is to phrase the question correctly. For instance, you can't ask "do you believe from each according to his needs?". You would simply ask " do you believe in a safety net? Other questions that would reveal imo that Americans are mostly socialist - what do we need to do with Ss, Medicare, Medicaid? Should we save the failing public school system? What do you think of the progressive income tax? Etc.

... and I have seen no conservatives on here arguing against Trump's $12 billion bailout of the farming industry to provide relief from what his own trade policies have caused, nor do I remember many Republicans arguing against George W. Bush signing the Troubled Asset Relief Program (T.A.R.P.) into law in October of 2008 where the United States government purchased toxic assets and equity from financial institutions to strengthen it's financial sector. That was the very definition of socialism.I think most Americans, including Republicans, are a variety of socialist. The trick is to phrase the question correctly. Then you aren't paying attention to people like me and the handful of others that panned it.... and I have seen no conservatives on here arguing against Trump's $12 billion bailout of the farming industry to provide relief from what his own trade policies have caused, nor do I remember many Republicans arguing against George W. Mostly, I would say that whether or not anyone here complains about socialism depends on who is calling for it.
2 different words. The word you describe is often the result of something genetic or accidental. The word that I use is born out of people wanting to be mentally deficient on purpose. Are you proud of abusing the word "******" - which is an abhorrent POV about those less mentally capable - or are you incapable of shedding such childishness?

The incredibly insensitive term "libtard", which is a direct spin-off of the much more offensive term "r|tard", is fine and dandy with you and your tiny crew of mental midgits. Got it. Thanks.
Who, else in all of creation, can you feel superior than those so less fortunate, not inferior, that the mentally challenged. Shame on you. Shame on you all.
Midgits, really? The incredibly insensitive term "libtard", which is a direct spin-off of the much more offensive term "r|tard", is fine and dandy with you and your tiny crew of mental midgits . Got it. Thanks.

So are you admitting that liberalism is a mental disorder? The incredibly insensitive term "libtard", which is a direct spin-off of the much more offensive term "r|tard", is fine and dandy with you and your tiny crew of mental midgits. Got it. Thanks.
