USF will be a good test. Pucket and Miles will both play minutes, they look ready now. Green is ready to help this year also, looks better already. This is Horsten’s team until RB comes back, the team will follow her lead. Hard to say what Striplin’s role is right now, it’s early

Need a productive 30 minutes from Key, Horston, and Puckett. Need continued solid d from Walker, Miles, and Green for at least 20 minutes each.

So, yes, this means I'd like to see Buckets in the starting lineup. Darby off the bench as 3p specialist.

Hayes sisters taking over btw I really like MS State so far this season

MSST is playing a lot better under their new coach. Surprisingly, Annie is the 3rd leading scorer on the team behind Rickea and JerKaila...but shooting at a very efficient clip. Definitely not ball hogging like she did at MTSU.

The other big surprise is Danae Carter. She was a 3-star forward that they are playing at center, and she's been productive. She'll get swallowed up against bigger teams, but she's a fighter.

We have been waiting two years for Key to take advantage of her enormous potential and exert talent and height .....so far it does not look all that promising this year.Potential is really a strange animal.....

She seems to be getting stressed during the game and getting too physical. She doesn't need a bad reputation and the focus of the refs.

Coach talked about South Florida having a veteran team - the roster has more players from different European countries that those from the United States. Definitely veterans with another meaning.

I could hypothesize that she recognizes that while players (need) to step up) without Rae But not yet has it been evident for lengthy periods.

Emily needs a lot of development she just does not seem ready for prime time unless we are involved in a blowout. One would think that by now she would be showing some significant progress. With her size, she would be a big help.

I am hoping the Lady Vols' first two opponents will have been better preparation for meeting USF than USF's first two opponents were for meeting Tennessee. The Lady Vols have already faced quickness and experience and found a way to win despite adversity. Has USF faced the size and defensive pressure the Lady Vols can bring?

Agree .Our post players the last 6 or 7 years just do not seem to develop .....is it possibly our post development coaches ? I do not know but the fact is I thought with our current post coach ( Mr Harper ) who has now been here two years that some improvement would be noticeable .....sigh .....we still have 98 % of the season this year so there is still some modicum of hope for both Key and Emily .....

I believe that this team at this point in time will have to win with its defense ......offense is atrocious.
