Coach Jumper's prediction: Lady VOls 90 Furman 51

Look for Davis, Horston and Burrell to unload on this team
Also, if Emily gets in, I look for her to bow up like we have yet to see out of her

also remember to vote for Kaiya in the poll attached to this link,,,,I know it will mean a lot to her,,,,thanks volnation!
you can vote more than once,,,,as many times as you want to
she is tied with another girl right now

As much as I enjoy Horston's game, I think the starting lineup will change to:

Walker
Davis
Burrell
Key
Green

Horston, Suarez and KK will bring strength off the bench. Furman is a team of mostly guards so defense may dictate the minutes.

Nothing earth shaking but she's always interesting to listen to. Coherent and thoughtful, even while coachspeaking.

One of the first questions was about point guard. Said she likes the combo, Walker and Horston bc they bring different games. JH going to make stuff happen, for good or bad, and Walker more "reserved" and deliberate. Give the defense a whole different look. Said she likes the idea of them playing together. Clearly for now, they will share duties situationally. Makes perfect sense for now. No indication which would come off the bench.

Likes energy of newcomers, good practices and work habits. Not worried about Rennia, just an off (way off) night. Good attitude. Feels fortunate to get games right now, thus Furman. Feels bad for Rick who's just now getting on court. Emphasizing flexability to current circumstance. Compared Collier to CP for God's Sake!

Unfortunately, I predicted the spread last game.

Tennessee 82
Furman 63

I like that starting lineup with the bench strength I would add Salary as a part of the guard spots’ bench strength with Horston backing up 1-3 spots. Keeping that rotation would probably bode well for both this year and next.

Clemson beat Furman by 40 and at least going by preseason ACC rankings Clemson was picked bottom 3 in the ACC. I'd be surprised it UT didn't win by at least 40. Hopefully UT can gain some confidence for the game at Texas up next after Furman.

Davis in particular. If she can't get going against Furman, it might be time to start worrying about her...

It would really suck if she can't produce because she's dealing with some issue like Andrea Carter or Dane Bradshaw. I hate to even think like that.

dont you think we would know if any injuries were dragging her down?? Kellie said she will be in her groove soon......Rennia has been injury free for her entire Lady Vol career and we would like to keep it that way

Wow Bartlett is leading right now. Has anyone seen her play? She gave us a super early verbal commit, but of course with the coaching change, that went away. I always wondered how she would progress over the years.

When Rennia had 4 points against Central Arkansas last season were we worrying then??? it seems like she turns it up a notch during SEC play

Except it wasn't just one game. By her standards, she hasn't played particularly well yet this season. Yes it's only three games, but if she has another dud in this one I think you can officially say she's in a slump...
